How I became a las vegan
I grew up in Apple Valley, Minnesota, a suburb of Minneapolis. Minnesota is home to me and my favorite part to living there was spending my summers by the lake. I went on to study Math and Economics at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. While I was there, my parents decided they were done with snow, and they packed up and moved to Las Vegas.
After I graduated from UWED, I went to visit my parents with no intention of staying. That was over twenty five years ago and I am still here.
FALLING IN LOVE WITH LAS VEGAS
Las Vegas has a way of surprising you. When most people only picture the infamous Las Vegas Strip, as a Las Vegas local I can tell you that there is SO much more to this amazing city and community. I’m talking about the stunning Red Rock National Park, just minutes from my front door, with hiking trails and endless desert landscape beauty, the incredible food scene, the genuine sense of community, and the unbeatable access to Lake Mead and Mount Charleston AND being within hours of the California coast. I am so proud and lucky to call Las Vegas my home.
A CAREER BORN FROM LOVE — AND MOM
Real estate was a part of my life even as a little kid. My mom was a in real estate and I can still remember the blue prints, of her clients homes, rolled across our dining room table. When my parents moved to Las Vegas, my mom continued as a realtor selling condominiums in Summerlin. I taught high school and would help her during the summer months – I was hooked. She taught me everything that matters most in this business: how to truly listen to clients, how to be honest, and how to show up and advocate with integrity. My mom was my first mentor and my greatest one.
I carry her with me in everything I do. The way I approach my clients, the care I bring to every transaction, the belief that this work is really about people… that’s her legacy, and I’m proud to honor it every day.
Over the years I’ve been fortunate to learn from many wonderful mentors, and I’ve built a career grounded in trust, honesty, and genuine service. But it all started with her.
MY LIFE HERE
Las Vegas is home now — fully, deeply, and joyfully. I have two teenage daughters who keep me busy, humble, and endlessly entertained. We love exploring everything the west side has to offer — from great schools and sports to hiking trails, local restaurants, and all the hidden gems that make this community so special.
And then there’s Tate — my lovable, funny, endlessly enthusiastic Labrador who has somehow become a bit of a local celebrity on my Instagram. She is absolutely the heart of our home. 🐾
Half of my heart still lives in Minnesota — the loons, the lakes, the people — but Las Vegas is where my roots have grown deep. I wouldn’t have it any other way.
COMMUNITY & GIVING BACK
Beyond real estate, I’m deeply committed to this community. I dedicate time each year to local nonprofits focused on causes I believe in — from community unity to conservation and education. Las Vegas has given so much to me and my family, and giving back feels not just right, but necessary.

After more than 20 years, what still gets me up in the morning is simple: people. I love being able to help someone find a place where their life will unfold. I love being trusted with something that matters so deeply. And I love the moment a client walks into a house and just knows — this is the one.
